Last night I was looking at dad's blog and I was reading about "Gotcha Day." I started to cry just thinking about our first time together and riding up the elevator with her before we were supposed to, she is just a blessing to me!

Bug's Cross Country season is swiftly coming to it's close, but we still have those big meets looming ahead (Regionals and State). Here's a brief re-cap of the season. Wish us luck at Region!

A prayer from the Psalms

My eldest daughter, as all of my daughters, is a true gift of God. She has inspired me to share the thoughts that God brings to mind in the morning....or throughout the day. She regularly shares her heart. May I be so bold to do the same. I remember back in those days BE (before Emmy), I shared thoughts or scriptures that had warmed my heart....even struggles that I had and scriptures that ministered to me. I pray that I may be more open - take the time to share - for I know that God uses each of His children to care for others. May I live each day to glorify the God that I love.

So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.
Return, O LORD! How long? Have pity on your servants!
Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love,
that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us,
and for as many years as we have seen evil.
Let your work be shown to your servants,
and your glorious power to their children.
Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us;
and establish the work of our hands...
