Four score and a hundred years ago...

Ok. So it wasn't that long ago! :) But, one year ago today, we were leaving for China! Go here to see what we said yesterday last year. Then visit this place to see our wacky rescheduling and here for Mammy's update.

God has been so kind to us and has blessed us tremendously. We could never have imagined that our Princess' transition would have been so smooth. Thank you all for your prayers for us in this journey.

Stay tuned for more of these "one year" anniversaries!

WOW a year......and what a year it has been - God is so good!!!! It seems, in some ways, last year was so long ago, especially going through all of the travel blogs and having you all so far away from us, waiting, sometimes impatiently for the next "word", feeling helpless when things weren't going "perfect" for you.....but now, THIS year, our "first birthday" with EX!!!! This Christmas will be even more special than the last IF that is possible (at least you all will be more rested.....). We love you all so much!!!!!!

Your right, Mammy! At least we will all be more rested! I remember taking naps for four or five days after returning from China. Man! That was an awesome Christmas, but this year promises to be a good one too!

Love you!

An incredible year it has been. Having the pleasure of watching Tammy and Jim bring EX to our family has been especially rewarding for me. I myself had a gift similar in so many ways, over twenty year’s ago, with the arrival of my niece Jennifer from Korea. Both being three year’s old when they were adoptive has given me the opportunity to relive the experience all over again. God has blessed me twice with allowing me to be a part of witnessing and participating in the lives of these two girls. EX is so much a part of our family that it seems as if she has been with us so much longer than a year. She is truly blessed to have three of the most terrific young ladies in the world as sisters. Tammy and Jim, there are no words to describe what incredible parents you are. I often talk about the girls to my friends and they actually don’t believe everything I say, their comments to me are “you make this family sound like they are characters from a fairy tale,” no just my family. If we could all be more like those under your roof the world would not have any problems and we would all be so much happier. To Jane Ellen, Katie, Gracie and Emmy Xiang you are four lucky girls to have the parents that you have. Tammy and Jim thank you for being such great people. We love you Aunt Cynthia
