Here is something that really happened to me and my mom yesterday:
We had to go to Ft. Walton for our weekly allergy shots. While we were there we decided to go to Walgreens for some good deals. The lady who checked us out was really sweet, but her hair and make up were a bit "out- there". She had the thickest and clumpiest mascara I have EVER seen... and I've seen some clumpy mascara before. This was not the first time. Her hair sort of went in a fountain on the top of her head with some hanging down, but is was all REALLY poofy and curly. Like 90s hair type poofy!
Later, in the evening, me and mom were washing dishes and I said to her, "Mom, did you realize that the lady who helped us at Walgreens was a Beauty Advisor?"

Check it out....
Jim's at it again. He's recording life as it happens. To be more precise, the life of a bug.
Jump on over to the new blog: A Bug's Life.
It's gonna be a slow ride.

Our poor sweet puppy...
You all know Hank, right?

Well, a few weeks ago our sweet darling puppy was reported to the County Animal Services... we all know how ferocious Hank is, right? Right. (No, he was actually reported for not being on a leash... in the entire 7 1/2 years we've lived in this neighborhood, nobody has ever minded... oh, well.) Don't worry... he's still ours...for days he had to be walked around on a leash...in his own yard (so he wouldn't go on his own daily walk around the neighborhood). But we ALL got tired of that. Imagine not being able to go to the bathroom in private!
So, we went out and bought a new wireless fence...but he has to wear the bad red collar (yes, the zapper colloar). In his head, he must be screaming about the whole deal! (As you see in the picture below)

We think he looks very handsome in his "red collar", but he would rather do without...the poor thing wasn't eating right for the first few days and he would walk around the house just sulking...but now he IS getting used to it. And he DOES seem to enjoy hanging out in the yard again...and getting to relieve himself in private again.
We just keep telling him, it's for his own good...We love you, Hanky- panky! It'll be okay.

Oh! I think I forgot to mention that we now have a Wii! Come over and play with us some time!!

EX sings The Gospel Song
Enjoy! (For those of you who don't know the words:
Holy God, in love, became
Perfect Man to bear my blame
On the cross He took my sin
By His death I live again)
